Often dived together on a double boat dive due to the tidal flow in Moreton Bay, these two sites are good on an average day and sensational on a good day, Curtin Artificial Reef has been created from an assortment of vessels, concrete pipes, tyres, a concrete-hulled yacht and even a Brisbane Tram! Perfect to dive on a stationary high tide, a drift can be confusing without a dive guide and experienced skipper topside.
The Pines drifts along a coffee-rock wall skirting the top end of Moreton Island, with massive boulders giving home to much fishlife.
